Chocolate items will melt when the weather is above 70 degrees.
If you choose to ship a chocolate item during warmer months you do so at your own risk.
To try to help protect your chocolate from melting we recommend that you select the option of ice packs.(There is an extra charge for the ice pack)
An ice pack does not guarantee that your chocolate will not melt!!
Please be aware that an ice pack lasts only 24 hours.
We do not recommend shipping chocolate during warmer weather months if shipping outside of Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, Northwest Indiana or Lower Michigan. If you are shipping to a state outside of Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, Northwest Indiana or Lower Michigan it will be at least a 2 day shipment and the ice pack will melt before your package arrives.
You will be taking a risk that your product will melt!
If you choose to ship chocolate during warmer weather we do not guarantee it will arrive in good quality.
